Pax was our first dalmatian. And he's a good example of how things start out innocently and who knows where they'll take you! Shortly after getting married my husband and I decided we needed a dog. We did a lot of research and finally compromised on a dalmatian. Thinking dog shows might be fun, we went on a waiting list for a showdog. When that spotted little wonder arrived at our house we didn't realize that we would soon be hooked on him, on dalmatians, and on dog shows! Pax was a wonderful, loving dog but quite willful (as many will remember). He taught us a lot about dogs in general and a lot about dalmatians. And we met a lot of wonderful people along the way.

Sadie (Am Ch Indalane's Bryan's Knockout x Ch Countryroad Ballet Slippers) finished her Canadian title easily. But it was in obedience that we shared our proudest moment. This was a High in Trial where she received a huge round of applause from the crowd. On the recall, Sadie came at me at light speed and slid to a perfect sit in front. And when I gave her the command to go to heel, she jumped straight up, licked the tip of my nose, spun in the air, and landed in perfect heel position! She brought down the house in true dalmatian style!

Cassie (Eng/Am Ch. Buffrey Jobee x Ch Countryroad Sweet Lady Sadie CD) was top dog in our house her entire life.A show dog to the core, Cassie consistently placed in the group in the US and in Canada. Beautiful but bossy as they come, Cassie made sure everyone (dogs and people alike) paid attention to her.

Tessa (Am/Can Ch. Countryroad Red Buttons x Am/Can Ch Countryroad Cachet Roadpartner) is as sweet and biddable as her mother was bossy. Tessa was a group placer in both Canada and the US - just missing her US title by 1 point when circumstances cut short her show career. She is currently a healthy and beautiful senior citizen.

Tessa passed away this November. She was everything a dal should be and more. Tessa was my best friend and I miss her every day.

Beau (Am. Ch. Amigo's Hot Taco x Am/Can Ch. Bobbibrooke Special Effects) could only be characterized as a handsome gentleman, always gentle and eager to please. While he never cared for showing, he excelled at public relations. Beau did many commercials and photo shoots for mall openings, magazine stories, and fashion layouts. Beau also was the first to be chosen for dalmatian education booths and visiting auxiliary care centres.

Kelli (Am/Can Ch. Countryroad Collateral x Am/Can Ch. Proctor's Devilstar Diamond) is an athlete. She finished her title in Canada easily and then went on to complete a Road Trial - which was very exciting! Running for miles with the horses is still what she loves more than anything else.Kelli also excelled in the whelping box passing on her "bombproof" temperment to her puppies. She had produced many champions --- their pictures can be seen on this website.

Molly (Am Ch Tuckaway Augusta x Can Ch. Countryroad Racy Roadpartner RD) is an athlete. She finished her CD title in Canada easily with 3 High in Class and 1 High in Trial with a novice handler!
